 Blackwing Press was established in 2016 as the imprint of a small author cooperative offering quality writing informed by provocative perspectives, publishing fiction, narrative non-fiction and short prose. 

Blackwing Press is now an independent  publisher of fiction, in the form of novels and short stories, as well as memoir and autoethnography.

Blackwing books aim at being literary and popular at the same time, using good writing to explore ordinary as well as extraordinary experiences in recognisable spaces and times. 

All authors have independent contractual arrangements with the distributors and manage their own royalties and tax payments.

We are not currently accepting new proposals, however we would like to hear from you if you have writing projects which align with our interests. Use the email or contact form below.

Blackwing books are published on Amazon Kindle, other e-book platforms and in paperback through Kindle Direct Publishing and Ingram Spark. Books can be ordered from any good bookstore or online via national and international distributors. Special release books with author signatures maybe be purchased direct via email to the press. Paypal or another commercial online purchasing option will be available shortly.
